interavt — International Audiovisual Translations, LLC. — was founded in 2013 as part of an international expansion policy of Traduplus Audiovisual, a Caracas-based audiovisual translation agency. Traduplus Audiovisual, our parent company, has been in the audiovisual translation business for more than 10 years, quickly becoming one of the most important audiovisual translation agencies in Latin America, with over 100 hours of material per month.
Through our partner agency in Caracas, our team has provided subtitle, SDH, closed caption, dubbing, voice-over, lipsync, and transcription services for renowned clients including HBO, Sony, Cinemax, Warner, E! Entertainment, and History Channel.

Our Services
Subtitles
Text at the bottom of the screen recreating dialogues and written discursive elements. Delivered in .sub, .srt, .stl, .spa, .vtt, and all XML formats including TTML and DFXP for Netflix and W3C members.
AI Subtitling
AI-assisted subtitle generation combined with expert human review. Faster turnaround for high-volume projects without compromising on linguistic and technical quality.
Closed Captions
User-toggled captions aimed at people with hearing disabilities. Includes descriptions of sounds and speaker identification, following US, UK, and Spanish standards.
SDH
Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing — a format for DVD, Blu-ray, and online material that reproduces dialogues, sounds, and any relevant information as text.
Dubbing / Lipsync
Translation and creation of dubbing scripts with time in/out and line counts per character. Delivered as finalized dubbed video through our joint venture with International Dubbing Services.
Voice-over
Audio starts in the source language and, a couple of seconds later, a voice-over in the target language is inserted. Ideal for documentaries and corporate videos.

The People Behind interavt
Luis Roberts
CEO & Co-Founder
Luis has spent three decades at the intersection of language and media. A subtitler and proofreader for HBO Latin America from 1998, he co-founded Traduplus Audiovisual in 2005 and built it into one of Latin America's leading audiovisual translation agencies. He co-founded interavt in 2013 to bring that expertise to the U.S. market.
Carlota Rodríguez
COO & Co-Founder
Carlota brings over 25 years of audiovisual translation experience, including eight years on HBO Latin America's subtitling team. As co-founder of Traduplus Audiovisual, she built and managed one of the largest translator networks in Venezuela. At interavt she oversees operations and talent.
Alejandro Salas
CTO & Co-Founder
Alejandro began his career as a subtitler trained under Luis, developing deep fluency in both the craft and the industry's technical demands. He co-founded interavt in 2013 and has driven its technology strategy since, bringing a background in software engineering and AI. Today he architects interavt's AI subtitling platform — the technology redefining how the company delivers quality at scale.
